Please note that the Duke Energy Foundation has a new Grants System and has updated their granting priorities.


• New Grants System (Benevity.org)

• New log in / registration required and provide ACH Payment info

• Govt entities can still apply, but will have extra steps to get manually entered in the system

• Duke-Energy.com/Foundation will guide you through the process

• Local Impact Grants - $20,000. Available all year – work with Community Relation Managers

• Larger Grants – Request for Proposals and By Invitation

• First request for proposals = Workforce Development and Energy Workforce Pipeline

• February – March 2023 Applications Accepted

• Grants Announced April 2023

• Grant award range $25,000 - $50,000

• Later in 2023 – could see RFP for Sustainability and Climate Resiliency and others TBD

• Grants must serve communities that are also served by Duke Energy
